Hands and Nails

Ladies and gentlemen, your hands will be on full display during the interview process.  From the initial handshake to the final exchange of materials, your hands will be factor in your professional presentation.

Make sure they are well groomed.  Nail kept short, shaped and clean!  Ladies beware of dragon like claws that can project a personna not necessarily conducive to the business world.  Keep your more unusual colors of polish for the Halloween Party!  Men, it’s not unmanly to have your nails buffed or even finished with a clear matte polish.

Use some non-fragranced hand cream to make sure your hands are soft, but make that handshake firm and worth of remembering. 

Fragrance

Ladies  , please be careful with the amount of perfume, cologne or aftershave that you wear during an interview.  Many people are allergic to fragrances.  Reactions can include, headache, sneezing, itchy eyes and runny nose.  Make sure the potential client’s reaction is only to your education, experience and fit into their opportunity
