References

Never include references on your resume.  When the appropriate time comes in the interviewing process be prepared with a separate sheet listing your references.

References should be 360 degrees - meaning they should include someone you worked for, someone who worked for you (if applicable) and someone who worked with you, a colleague.

References should also be gender balanced, including comments from both males and females.

References should know you professionally, not personally.  New grads often use advisors or professors for their references.
